  2. Search - search queries, keywords used by the users

  4. Behaviour - New visitors Vs returning visitors, their page views, visits and duration of stay in your site.

Login to Google analytics page. If you are first time user, click the 'Admin' menu provided at the top of page.

Step - 2

Then under 'Accounts' section, you will see a drop down menu, check that and click 'Create new account' as shown in the picture

Step - 3

Fill all the required space with details, and ensure that you click Universal Analytics instead of classic analytics. Also enter your blog/website URL .

Step - 4

After creating your account, return to the Admin panel and check 'Property' drop down menu. Under that click 'Create new property' just like the one shown below.

Step - 5

You will be taken to a page, where you need to enter your blog/website name, URL, industry and time zone. Select the appropriate fields and click 'Get Tracking ID'. After doing this, your site will be given a unique tracking ID. Copy this for future purpose.
(you can check your tracking ID any time later by going through Property > Tracking info)

Step - 6

After completing the above 5 steps, login to your Google webmaster and go to webmaster home page. If you have already added your site to webmaster, then your site name will appear in that page just like the one shown in step - 7, else click 'ADD A SITE' button, and add your blog/website there.

Wait a minute, you still need to do a thing in order to make your site more trackable. Just open your blogger site and goto Settings > Other. Scroll down to the bottom of Other page to find 'Analytic Web property ID' icon. Paste the copied ID (from Google Analytic) there and click save settings. Done, you will shortly see all the tracking details in Analytics !
