How to Use iWriter to Get Quality Content for Your Site - Complete Guide

In my article called "How a Site Can Beat the Competition Without Creating Links," I discussed how the quality of your writing can snag you a good ranking on Google.

BUT...here's the problem. Those tips and suggestions obviously work for one particular group of affiliate marketers -- those who can write.

I also wrote an article called "Hate Writing? Here are Other Affiliate Marketing Methods to Try" to address this issue. Some of the tips / methods I included include Youtube and Facebook marketing.

But although these alternatives can give you decent earnings, nothing beats written content.

That said, if you can't write, the next best thing to do is to outsource your writing. There are pros and cons of doing this, of course, and the main disadvantage is the cost. Another disadvantage is the possibility of paying for bad quality writing.

This is where iWriter comes in.

iWriter is an online marketplace for content. It's a place where clients and writers meet to get articles written in as fast as one hour.

How iWriter Works

As a client, you'll create a writing service request. Choose how many words you require for your articles, and decide how much you're willing to pay for them. Once the request is complete, it will automatically go to the request listings and be visible to writers.

When a writer answers the request, a deadline is set depending on the number of words required. For 400 words, the writer has 2 hours to finish your article. For 500 words, it's 3 hours. For 700 words and above, it's 5 hours.

As you can see, your articles can be finished very quickly. All you have to do is wait.

As if that's not good enough, you also have the option to reject the article if it doesn't fit your quality requirements. Once this happens, the article request becomes visible to other writers.

As you go on, you'll realize that some writers are better than the rest. You can "favorite" these writers and create "Special Requests" which will be exclusive only to them. Note that Special Requests cost a few cents more than standard rates.

How iWriter Can Help You

At iWriter, you can ask writers to help you:

- write articles,
- re-write articles,
- write an e-book, or
- re-write a Kindle book.

iWriter Rates

Speaking of rates, payment depends on the type of writer you choose. At iWriter, there are three types of writers according to rating:

- Standard (less than 4.0 rating)
- Premium (4.1 to 4.59 rating)
- Elite (4.6+ rating)

Naturally, Elite Writers are worth more than Standard; but the quality of their writing is a lot better.

iWriter vs oDesk vs Fiverr

Here's a general rule of thumb -- you get what you pay for. iWriter is the best among the choices because compared with oDesk and Fiverr, writers get paid more.

Meaning, the best writers would want to be compensated more, so they'll flock to iWriter. To date, there are already more than 200,000 writers at the site and more than 2 million articles written.

Comparing the rates, at oDesk, a bidding system is used. That said, a writer can get paid $1 per 400 article. At Fiverr, writers "sell" their services, so they're willing to get paid $5 for two 500-word articles. At iWriter, Elite writers can get paid more than $8 per 500-word article.

So if you're a writer and you know you have good writing skills, you'll sign up for iWriter. As a client, this is a good thing as far as quality writing is concerned.

Bad Writers at iWriter

Are there bad writers at iWriter?

Yes, there are. But they get stuck at Standard level. See, before a writer gets promoted to either Elite or Premium status, he needs to complete at least 30 articles and get rated for them. Bad writers don't get promoted because they are rated poorly by other clients.

That said, if you choose an Elite writer, rest assured that he will give you quality content.
